Organic cotton completely hand made.
The cotton is organic (although this is not certified), meaning that it is grown without pesticides and that the fibres are totally biodegradable without leaching any toxic chemicals back into the ground. As this fabric is hand-woven, there are some small weaving irregularities, although this does not affect the quality or overall look of the fabric. The spinning and weaving is done in a cooperative and certified Fair Trade by the WFTO. As the fabric is a hand-made product, the process uses virtually no electricity - including in the spinning process.
